Other times they fade away on their own, other times they pose as an aesthetic problem and can be removed by implementing certain homespun remedies.
How to remove skin tags, moles & warts?
There are certain home remedies for skin tags, moles and warts, which acts as natural cures for removing the skin lesions. Like:
Apple Cider Vinegar: The high acidic value present in this concoction helps to get rid of skin tags, moles and warts. It may sting initially though. However, ACV should not be used to remove skin tags around the eyelids, as it can be detrimental for the eyes. In order to get rid of skin tags, wash the region with water and mild soap; dry it; and then lace a cotton ball in ACV, squeeze out the excess; then place it on the skin tag, bandage it and leave it on for around 15 minutes; and then wash it off. If this routine gets repeated for 3 times a day for a weak, then the skin of that region will darken and eventually dry and fall off. In case of warts, the cotton ball with AVC should be kept secure with bandage overnight, and changed daily for a few days till the warts completely peel off, even then continue the routine for a few more days to prevent them from recurring again.
Castor Oil and Baking Soda: Another natural cure for removing warts, moles and skin tags is the paste of baking soda and castor oil. After applying this paste on the lesion, cover it with a bandage and continue this process until the skin becomes smooth.
Tea Tree Oil: This is a remedy for removing skin tags. Take two or three drops of tea tree oil on a cotton ball, previously moistened with water. Place the cotton ball on the skin tag and then proceed to cover it up with a bandage. After approximately a weak and a half, the skin tag region will darken and fall off to form smooth skin.
Garlic: This is another time tested cure for removing warts and moles. Make a paste by mashing some garlic, then apply it directly on the warts or mol and cover it up with a bandage. Repeat this process till the warts fell off. Usually this remedy provides a positive result after five days of daily application. Applying garlic is effective for it contains certain enzymes, which aids in breaking down the clusters of the pigment producing cells and thereby aids in lightening the dark pigmentation. However, always remember to disinfect the region with ACV or some other disinfectant before repeating the procedure daily, also apply some coconut oil on the region of the skin surrounding the mole or warts, to protect the skin.
Bananas: This fruit can be used to remove warts. Apply the inner side of the peel of a banana to the wart, to get rid of it, for numerous times a day. This method of removing warts has been published in numerous medical journals. Or one could place the inner side of the banana peel on the wart and keep it taped, to keep it in the same position, throughout the night. In the next day, after waking up, clean the area with water. Repeat this process every night for a week or till the wart begins to soften.
Pure Raw Honey/ Organic Manuka Honey: Organic Manuka Honey is harvested only in New Zealand and is not easy to come across, so under such circumstances pure raw honey can also be used to get rid of warts. Manuka Honey is one of the most effective type of honey reffering to the level of the concentration of the antibacterial properties prevailing in it. It also has the added advantage of being able to withstand fluctuations in the temperature without reducing its benefits. It essentially deprives the warts of air, and thereby kills it, this process is also known as ‘occlusion therapy’. The process of application is very straightforward. Cover the wart thickly with honey, wrap it up in a bandage and let it be, like that for 24 hours. After which change the bandage and again repeat the process, till the wart shrivels up and falls off.
Duct Tape: take some duct tape and place it on the warts. This will effectively cut off their oxygen supply and prevent their growth, and eventually due to lack of oxygen they would die and fall off. Keep the area covered in duct tape for 6 days, changing it whenever required. After 6 days, soak the region in water and rub it with a pumice stone or an emery board. Then keep repeating this procedure, it would take approximately two months to get rid of the warts completely.
