Weakness and Fatigue: Ayurvedic Wonders

Weakness-and-Fatigue

Tired, exhausted, lack of energy, Inability to get up – a common sight today – and what does one do?
Grab a protein bar or gulp down an energy drink or a power shake. Or resort to chocolates, caffeine, etc. And your stamina seems to be restored. But these are only quick-fixes that overtly provide the feeling of being energized but not really energizing us from within. In the first place, why does weakness and fatigue set in?

While recurrent fatigue and weakness can be a symptom for major illnesses like Heart Stroke, Cancer, Diabetes, etc. it is often a result of our lifestyle, physical and mental stage and food habits. Lack of exercise combined with stressful lifestyle has resulted in muscular weakness and general lethargy in most of us. Intaking artificial food is just a temporary solution. In fact, processed food takes a toll on our body and plays with the natural hormonal system of the body in the long run.

While we are getting inclined towards artificial health supplements and quick fix-ups, we have given nature a side seat. Indian Ayurveda provides excellent remedies for fighting fatigue/ weakness and increasing physical strength and stamina through the use of herbs found abundantly in nature. And the best aspect is that these bouts of exhaustion would go away without any side effects that quick fix-ups and allopathic medicines may have. Some of these ayurvedic wonders are as follows:
